The Catholic Training Centre Haan (KBZ Haan) offers all trainees spacious rooms with modern media equipment. The classrooms, group and demonstration rooms for school-based training are bright and friendly. Course groups, personal support during theoretical and practical assignments and respectful co-operation create a pleasant learning atmosphere.
The interdisciplinary teaching organisation and the interlocking of theory and practice offer a modern and high-quality education that meets the high demands of the nursing profession.

In the cooperating clinics, retirement homes and outpatient care facilities, the comprehensive orientation towards the person in need of care forms the basis of nursing care. With expertise and humanity, experts in professional teams work hard every day for the health and well-being of their fellow human beings. At our company, trainees to become nursing specialists and nursing assistants are given the tools to do this.

Regardless of their ideological, religious or cultural background, existential questions such as the meaningfulness of suffering, happiness despite illness, justice in medicine or faith as help and support are part of everyday life for carers. The caring profession confronts carers with borderline human experiences and crisis situations. Carers' own feelings, thoughts and experiences are challenged by their professional environment.
We believe that caring is essentially an ethically based profession. We want to offer our trainees guidance that helps them to develop their own points of view, to agree on them, to question their own views and to find suitable ways forward for themselves and others. We consider it an essential part of professional care to provide comprehensive support and guidance to people on their journey through illness, disability or the need for care. Caring for people, preserving their dignity and an attitude committed to life are at the centre of our educational work. In short: living humanity.
